The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, December 14, 2000. Wayne Allen Johnston, 47, passed away December 4, 2000. Wayne was born August 31, 1953 in Phoenix. He was a Vietnam veteran. He also drove a Phoenix Transit bus for 13 years. Wayne was an accomplished guitar player who loved the Blues. He is survived by his mother Wilma (Pat), brother Jim, son Michael, daughter Michelle (he loved you with all his heart) six grandchildren and many friends who loved him very much. Services Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, Nat'l Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to a favorite charity.
