| Reno Gazette-Journal (Reno, Nevada) Saturday, January 29, 2000, p. 5-C Hattie B. Kellis Hannon, 102, died Jan. 27, 2000, at her residence. A native of Sterling City, Texas, she was born March 20, 1897, to Agustus Josephus and Harriet Jane (Martin) Kellis and had lived in Reno since 1996, coming from Sierraville, Calif. Mrs. Hannon owned and operated the Sierraville General Store, where she was a postal clerk and postmaster, until 1965. She attended Lampson Business College in Phoenix and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 129 and Hassayampas Chapter, Wickenburg, Ariz. She was a member of the Sierraville Community Church. Surviving are daughters, Jane Cooper of Loyalton, Calif., Billee Stoner of Sierraville, and June Vandendriss of Corvallis, Mont.; several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at a later date. Memorials are being established with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Great Basin Sierra Chapter, P.O.
