Harold Gilbert Ryan, 85, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2006 at his
home in Lake Havasu City with his loving wife Susan by his side. He
was born May 10, 1920 in Anderson, IN to Albert and LeoBelle (Coppas)
Ryan, and was known as "Ryan" to his friends and family.

Ryan moved to Lake Havasu City in 1985 from Lakeside, CA after
retiring from John Deer in Moline, IL in 1980. He proudly served in
the U.S. Army in World War II and was a member of the V.F.W. Ryan
didn't know a stranger; he enjoyed meeting new people in his many
travels, and was always there to lend a helping hand. As a young man,
he traveled from his home in Iowa to California every year on his
Harley Davidson, dreaming of when he would retire. And when he
retired, the Harley was replaced by an RV. Ryan loved his RV and
camping and traveling with his wife Susan and his dog Heinrich.

He is survived by his loving wife Susan of Lake Havasu City; brother
Marvin (Jean) Ryan of Cordova, IL; daughters Pat Sundeen of Geneso,
IL, Kathy Conode of Umatilla, FL, Jodi Berhenke of Moline, IL, Tracy
(Russ) Griffin of E. Moline, IL and Nicole (Orin) Holland of Midland,
MI; sons Jack Ryan and Michael (Kristen) Booth of Irvine, CA; nine
grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Services are pending and cremation will take place at Lietz-Fraze
Funeral Home. Contributions may be made in Ryan's name to Hospice of
Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.Thoughts and
condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-
