She was born on April 20, 1921 in Liberal, KS; to Carroll O. and Dessia F. (Miller) Mahoney. Babs moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 11 years ago from Los Angeles, CA. She worked as a telephone operator for Southern California Bell in San Diego, CA; for 4 years. Babs loved to play bingo and enjoyed traveling on the tour buses to various locations in the southwest. She was also particularly proud of her turtle collection. Babs is survived by her sons, Grant D. Foley and wife Nancy of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Timm O. Foley and wife Helen of Eugene, OR; grandchildren, Justin N. Foley, Mary Colleen Foley, Aletta J. Foley and Blain M. Foley; four step-grandchildren and eight step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wally who were married on February 27, 1944.
