| Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Petrina ended her fight with breast cancer January 4, 2003. She was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on April 13, 1928 to Sicilian immigrant parents, Giovanni Battista and Concetta (Speciale) Chiarello. Petrina had been a resident of Lake Havasu City on and off for the last 34 years. Her husband, Chuck and her took the McCulloch flights out of Chicago in the late 60's to Lake Havasu where they purchased a home and some land. Petrina often told everyone that she knew that Lake Havasu would always be her home, when she got off the plane. Petrina will mostly be remembered for her bright sense of humor, her contagious laugh and her beautiful smile. She leaves behind her loving family, daughters, Pam Balezos and her husband Pete of Lake Havasu City, Sandy Rogillio and her husband Joe of Maringouin, Louisiana, Charel Wendt of Rivergrove, Illinois and Victoria Massingill and her husband Danny of Arlington Heights, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Chuck Balezos, Tina (Balezos) Kemp, Dawn Rogillio, Ben Rogillio and his wife Miranda, Steven Rogillio, Michael Drawlmeyer, Daniel Massingill and his wife Melinda, Eric Massingill and Kaitlyn Massingill; six great grandchildren, Garrett and Karley Kemp, Gracie Yerman, Kyle Balezos, Malerie Day and Alexis Massingill; her sisters, Rose Holbach of South Haven, Michigan, Virginia Benker of Chicago, Illinois, Fran Leitner of Lake Havasu City and Mary Mefford of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. She is preceded in by her husband Chuck whom was laid to rest November 18, 1992. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 8, 2002, 4:00 PM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel with Chaplain Kathy Kenney officiating. For those unable to attend the service, friends may come and pay their respects from 3:00 to 4:00, Wednesday, January 8th. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. |
