Stanley Harold Huhndorf

Stanley Harold Huhndorf passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2005. Stan
was born July 13, 1920 to Gustav A. Huhndorf and Marie Johnson
Huhndorf in Lewis Couny, WA. He attended schools in Yelm, Washington
and graduated from high school in 1938.

Following high school he was a graduate of Curtiss-Wright Technical
Institute of Aeronautics in Glendale, CA. His love of aircraft
continued throughout his work and life. Stan was a private licensed
pilot, one of an elite group of private pilots over the age of 80 who
continued flying. Stan started his career with Grand Central Airport
Company in Glendale, CA as a licensed aircraft mechanic. He retired
from Honeywell in 1982.

In 1942, he married Emma Frances Cash from Oxnard, CA. They celebrated
their 62nd wedding anniversary in August of 2004. Stan and his wife
have been active members of the Methodist Church throughout their
marriage.

Stan leaves his wife, Emma; daughters, Pamela Bolen of Brooklyn, NY
and Cathleen Bartels of Laguna Beach, CA; son, Michael Stanley from
Santa Ana, CA and three grandchildren, Jesse Bartels, David Bartels
and Kimberly Huhndorf.

A memorial service will be held at St. Michael's United Methodist
Church at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 30, 2005. In lieu of flowers,
the family requests that donations be made in Stan's name to Hospice
of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405 or to St. Michael's
United Methodist Church, 2895 S. Jamaica Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ
86406.Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home &
Crematory.
