| Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Curtis Allen Hedstrom, 70, passed away peacefully at Serenity Assisted Living in Lake Havasu, Arizona, on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. He was born in Pasco, Washington, February 11, 1936, to Elerth J. and Maxine M. Hedstrom. Curt graduated from Coupeville High School in Washington State, attended Tacoma Technical School and Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. He was employed by the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife for over 30 years in their Upland Game Bird Program and later as Supervisor of Hunter Education for Western Washington, retiring in 1986 to Whidbey Island, Washington, where he and his wife enjoyed many years of boating and fishing. In 1998 the couple relocated to Bigfork, Montana, and in 2002 to Lake Havasu, Arizona. An accomplished entertainer, Curt was admired for his singing voice. Those who had the pleasure of listening to him sing and play guitar were truly blessed. Performing gave him and his audience great pleasure for many years. In addition to his beloved companion and wife of over 50 years, Carol, Curt is survived by his mother, Maxine Hedstrom Bateman; son Mark Hedstrom, and daughter and son-in¬law, A. Laurie and Paul Kuklish. The immediate family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
