NILLES, Joseph Francis (Lucky)

Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Thursday, December 9, 1982, p. 3 J. "Lucky" Nilles dead December 2 at age of 59 Joseph Francis "Lucky" Nilles Jr., died December 2, 1982 at the age of 59. Nilles was born January 8, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois and had lived in Wickenburg for many years. Lucky was self-employed in construction in the Wickenburg area and was a member of Elk's Lodge 2160. He was a member of the Past Exalted Ruler's Association, and had been Exalted Ruler in Wickenburg two times. Nilles had also served on the Elk's Welfare Social Committee, and the Masonic Lodge Youth Development Committee. Survivors include his wife Frances of Wickenburg; daughters Carol Ann of Thousand Oaks, California, and Geraldine of Parma Heights, Ohio, and a grandson, Kevin Kolesar of Parma Heights. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be sent to the Elk's National Foundation in Tucson, Arizona, for the long term care unit. Donations for the foundation may be taken to the local Elk's Lodge. Services were held Saturday, December 4 at the Elk's Lodge in Wickenburg, and at Green Acres Memorial Chapel in Scottsdale.
