GRABIEL, Alfonso Guadalupe

Alfonso Guadalupe Grabiel passed away January 14, 2009 in Lake Havasu 
City, AZ at the age of 62. He was born to Frederico and Socorro 
(Garcia) Grabiel on August 2, 1946 in Havana, Cuba.

Alfonso proudly served under the direction of the United States Navy 
from 1967 to 1970, during the Vietnam Conflict. He did volunteer work 
for Rotary, the Lyons and the local humane society along side his 
daughter. Alfonso also was a Girl Scout assistant leader.

Alfonso is survived by his daughter, Amanda Rose Grabiel; step-son, 
Shane; brothers, Pablo, Benjamin, Frederico and Juan and two sisters, 
Maria and Nina.

A scripture service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009, 2:30 PM 
at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Military honors will be presented by the VFW 
Post 9401 and the American Legion Post 81.
