| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Thursday, July 15, 1982, p. 3 California woman killed in crash near here Local Sheriff deputies assisted Department of Public Safety officers at the scene of a fatal car accident on Sunday, July 11 on U.S. 60 near the North Yuma county line. Marjorie E. Misbeek, 64, of Poway, Calif., died at 6:15 a.m. when the car in which she was a passenger ran off U.S. 60 about 35 miles west of Wickenburg, DPS investigators said. She was pronounced dead at the scene with a broken neck. Her husband, Ernest E. Misbeek, who was driving the car, suffered a concussion and internal injuries. He was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center in Phoenix. Two other people were also killed in separate car accidents on Arizona highways on Sunday. |
