| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Thursday, July 1, 1982, p. 7 Chris Phillips, a 90-year old self-employed hotel and motel owner, died on Saturday, June 19 in Boswell Hospital. He was born in Greece and moved to Arizona 45 years ago from New Mexico. He settled in Wickenburg in 1942 and owned and operated the Double J Motel for 36 years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. Survivors include his wife Sophie. Services were held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Phoenix on Tuesday, July 22. Interment was at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City.
