On Friday February 5th (2016) God welcomed a very special angel to
join him in heaven. Teri Lynn Hunnicutt passed from this world
surrounded by her family in Lake Havasu City, AZ after a one year
battle with cancer.

Teri was born in 1956 in Detroit, MI to Lloyd & Dot Edgar and was the
only girl in a family of three brothers. She enjoyed a life of travel,
living in El Paso TX, Aspen CO, Lake Havasu City AZ and Cody WY. While
living in these places she often found herself doing what she loved
for a living which was as she put it, "Being a professional shopper."
By that she meant that she was a buyer for the companies that she
worked for, if anyone could find a bargain she could. Husband, Joe had
no worries when Teri went shopping on a Saturday, hitting every yard
and garage sale which she had carefully mapped out on the computer,
sometimes bringing home treasures other times just making friends with
those that she had met.

In later years she and husband, Joe spent the winters on the road
calling Texas their second home and spending considerable time with
their daughters in Arizona while the ground was frozen in Cody. While
vacationing in the winter months she loved being on the back of Joe's
motorcycle exploring the backroads of Texas often discovering out of
the way antique stores where she could practice her well-honed
shopping skills.

It's often said when someone passes away that they were "loved by so
many", in the case of Teri that is an understatement. She so often
went out her way to help others and make them feel comfortable despite
any pain which she may have been having. No better example of this can
be had than her numerous hospital stays this last year. She was often
reminded by her care givers that the call button was there for her to
use. Her response was always that the nurses had much better things to
do than to cater to her every whim, "Go help somebody who is sicker
than me please, I'll call you if I really need something." Most nurses
heard those words at least once from this caring angel that was
beloved by not only her family but so many who met her over the years.

Teri is survived by her husband, Joe; daughters, Shylah Hunnicutt and
Shawn Anderson of Lake Havasu City AZ; brothers, Gary & Jay Edgar as
well as five grandchildren, Connor, Michaela, Nate, Grace Lynn and
Joe. She is also survived by nephew, Matthew Holbrook and two
wonderful son-in-law's who she loved so very much, Mike Anderson and
Trever Carmack.

Although Teri loved Daisy's she would ask that in lieu of flowers,
those who wish to honor her memory please either make a donation to
their local hospice and/or please go visit someone they know who is
suffering from cancer. There is no greater loneliness than that of a
person suffering from a terminal disease.

Services will be held Sunday March 13th at Foxes, for more info please

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and
Crematory. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to the family at
