Mina Adeline (Johnson) Munderloh

Mina Adeline Munderloh, a long-time resident of Prescott, Ariz., died Thursday, July 3, 2003 at the Prescott Valley Samaritan Center. Mina, daughter of Pete and Alta Johnson was born in Denmark, Wisc., on Feb. 16, 1935. She received a teaching degree from Central State College at Steven Point, Wisc., and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Arizona. She taught school in Kaukauna, Wisc., before moving to Prescott with her husband Jerome in 1956. She was a teacher at Skill (sic: Skull) Valley School and Washington School in Prescott. Mina loved to sing and play guitar and enjoyed painting. She was a founding member of the Skull Valley Historical Society and was fond of her ranching days near Wickenburg.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer, and is survived by her sons, Marty and John Munderloh of Prescott; grandson Levi Munderloh of San Diego, Calif.; brothers, Conrad and Floyd Johnson of Prescott and Daniel and Warren Johnson of Wisc.; sisters-in-law Delores (Skinny) and Maryann Johnson, Wisc., and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at the Chapel of The Valley at Fain Park in Prescott Valley, 2215 North 5th Street, at 10am, Saturday, July 12.
