Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - William Ward Nowotny, 75, passed away January 5, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Clarence and Beatrice (Ward) Nowotny on March 3, 1928 in Denver, CO. William had been a frequent visitor of the Colorado River area for the past 15 years, visiting from Cortez, CO. For 42 years, he was the manager of City Market and a member of the Elks Lodge and Lions Club in Cortez. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of almost 53 years, Harriet; son, Thomas Neil Nowotny; daughter, Sharon Kay Nowotny; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren and another on the way. Memorial services are to be held at River Lodge in Parker Dam, CA on Saturday, January 10, 11:00 AM with Louie Marsh officiating. Donations are requested to go in his name to Citizens State Bank of Cortez, PO Drawer T, Cortez, CO 81321. A charity will be decided at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
