| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Saturday, September 12, 1970, p. 43 Richard and Nancy Fellars, victims of Utah flood waters Services for Richard D. Fellars, 36, and his wife, Nancy Jane, 34, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bethany Bible Church, 6060 N. Seventh Ave. Friends may call tomorrow in Paradise Chapel, 3934 E. Indian School. Burial will be in Green Acres Cemetery, Scottsdale. The couple drowned last Saturday when a bridge was swept away across McElmo Wash near Aneth, Utah. The couple was delivering a travel van to a missionary friend on a Utah Indian Reservation. Mr. Fellars had owned and operated the Dick Fellars Hydramatic Specialists Co. at 4540 N. Seventh St. since 1952. Born in Phoenix, he was a member of Paradise Valley Baptist Church and had conducted Bible classes the past five years in his home at 6923 E. Hummingbird Lane. He was graduated from the Phoenix Technical School. His survivors include four children, Richard, Marcus, Pamela and Nancy; his mother, Mrs. Dewey Fellars; a brother, Edwin M.; four sisters, Mrs. Edwin Crawford and Martha Fellars, all of Phoenix, Mrs. Robert Roberts of Downey, Calif., and Mrs. Carl Rahter of Liberty, Mo. Survivors of Mrs. Fellars, who was born in Phoenix and also was a member of the church, include, in addition to the children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marcus B. Barlow; two brothers, Glenn and Leland Barlow; a sister, Mrs. Don Lee, all of Phoenix, and grandfather, Walter Barlow of Muleshoe, Tex.
