Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Thursday, March 4, 1982, p. 13 Nicholas A. Getcheff, 85, of Circle City died on Feb. 27 at the Beverly Manor Convalescent Center in Sun City. He had lived in Circle City for 17 years. He was born in Bulgaria and came to America at the age of 16. Before moving to Phoenix he lived in Akron, Ohio where he operated a restaurant, and then in California where he owned a beverage store. He is survived by his wife Bessie; a sister, Seva Georgieva, Bulgaria; three step-children, Dale Connor, Elk City, OK., Philip Conner, New Orleans, La., and Jean Vanco, Yarnell; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, at the Wickenburg Funeral Home. Pastor Stephen Garrett officiated. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
