WATKIN, William Buchanan

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, June 03, 2009 William Buchanan Watkin, age 74, passed away on June 2, 2009, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born on Oct. 9, 1934, in Canton, Ohio, where he attended high school. Bill later attended the Cleveland Institute of Art. He served in the United States Army from Oct. 13, 1953, until Oct. 12, 1955, as SP3(T). Bill worked in the insurance industry and retired from Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America as Vice President in 1999. Bill is survived by his wife, Susan; sons Bruce, Geoff and Stephen (Jennifer); grandchildren Braden and Anna; and pupper dog "Wili." The family invites friends to their home on Saturday, June 6, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m., 7245 N. Sunrise Vista, Prescott Valley - The Viewpoint. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
