| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, January 8, 2020, p. A-5 Cleva Jeanette "Bunnie" Carter Brandt, 78, passed away at The Schneidmiller House in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho on Dec. 24, 2019. Bunnie was born in Montrose, Colo., on Jan. 11, 1941, to Jack C. and Louise E. (Berry) Carter. She was raised in Wickenburg and graduated high school in El Monte, Calif. Bunnie raised three fine boys on her own. She married Roy Brandt on Sept. 1, 2001, in Coeur d'Alene. She has been Roy's beloved and precious companion for 32 years. Bunnie enjoyed reading, arts, and crafts. She is survived by her husband, Roy L. Brandt of Spirit Lake, Idaho; sons Jack Duane Klein (Brenda) of Hope, Idaho, Gregory Lee Klein (Donna) of Colbert, Wash., and Harry Theodore "Ted" Klein III and fiancé Kathi of Buckley, Wash.; grandchildren Sean Ryan, BreAnna, Michael, Angel, Gregory III, and Cherish; several great grandchildren; and two sisters Marlene Reeder and Donna Jean Straussenberg. Roy will especially miss his sugar lump very much. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1212 N. Washington St., Suite 200, Spokane, WA 99201, or Hospice of North Idaho, 2290 W. Prairie Ave., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815. Memorial service will be held at a later date. |
