Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Thursday, January 21, 1982, p. 3 Mrs. Ty Walters Pollman dies at 65 Mrs. Ty Walters Pollman, a 40 year resident of Wickenburg, died at her home on Saturday, January 16. She was 65. Mrs. Pollman was born in Jasonville, Indiana in 1916. She graduated from Indiana University in 1939 where she was in the Kappa Alpha Theta Sororiety. With her husband Ben Pollman, she moved to Wickenburg in 1942. She was a member of the Library Board for 17 years, and past president of the Las Damas Association. Survivors include two daughters, Michele Fernadell, Sonoma, Ca., and Terrell Smith, Ferrisburg, Vt.; a son, Jake Pollman, Winthrope, Wa.; her mother Roxie Walters, Linton, In.; a brother William Walters, Bloomington, In.; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Burial was in the Wickenburg Cemetary on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
