FLOWER MOUND, Tex.---
Gloria M. Jelinek, a 23-year resident of Flagstaff and well-known member of the city's business community, died at her home, Dec. 6, after a lingering illness. She was 59.

Mrs. Jelinek lived in Flagstaff from 1967 to 1990 and with her husband, Richard, was owner and operator of the city's Union Oil distributorship until retirement in 1986.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Dec. 10 at St. Anthonys Church, Wickenburg.

Mrs. Jelinek was born June 16, 1932, in Elgin, Ill. Prior to moving to Flagstaff in 1967, she had lived in Wickenburg since 1961.

In Flagstaff, she was an active member of the parish at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.

Mrs. Jelinek is survived by her husband, a son, Mike, and a daughter, Diane Townsend, all residents of Flower Mound; daughters Susan Solario, Phoenix; Judy Kohlbeck, Globe; Laura Spackeen, Scottsdale; and Mary Dalpiaz, Flagstaff; a sister and 11 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Nativity Church.
