| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Thursday, December 16, 1971, p. 2-D John Fred Alexander, 83, a retired farmer who came here 41 years ago from San Angelo, Tex., died Monday in his home, 3809 W. Lincoln. Mr. Alexander was a Baptist and a native of Dallas. Survivors include five sons, Carl of Abilene, Tex., James of Lemon Grove, Calif., Lynn of Carlsbad, Calif., Milton of Carson, Calif.; and Albert of Willcox; four daughters, Mrs. Hallie Meeker and Mrs. Opal Hartford, both of Phoenix, Mrs. Anita Carlson of Buckeye and Mrs. Dora Christiansen of Tucson; 31 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery. See Also: Find A Grave |
