| Daily Star (Tucson, Arizona) Sunday, December 31, 1944, p. 12 Arizona Pioneer Dies At Prescott PRESCOTT, Dec. 30.--(AP)--A resident of Arizona since 1881, Robert Thomas Hoopes, 73, died today at the pioneers' home where he was admitted a few days ago from Prescott. Hoopes, born in Wyoming, came to Phoenix in 1881 and later entered the grocery business. He was a guest at the home in 1935. Survivors include his wife, Levina, Prescott; two brothers, Seth of Phoenix and William of Utah. See Also: Find A Grave |
