| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, February 5, 2020, p. A-5 Jonathan David Paul Madewell was born April 24, 1998 in Casa Grande, and spent most of his life growing up in Quartzsite. Despite living in a small town, he made the most of life riding dirt bikes and causing havoc with his best friend Justin Andersen. Jonathan was free spirited, fierce, and full of love. He loved everyone. His love for his friends and family was amazing, and if anyone needed him, he was always ready to help them. He always made sure to say "I Love You," no matter who was there to hear it. Jonathan had a heart of gold. Jonathan attended grade school in Quartzsite. He attended Salome High School for two years and graduated from Wickenburg High School in 2016 and HVAC school in 2017. Jonathan's passion was driving any rig with a diesel motor. His love for driving led him to attaining his CDL in 2019, when his dream to drive with the big boys came true! This accomplishment made Jonathan so happy, and so proud. Jonathan had the opportunity to drive for CRST for a short time and loved every minute of it. He recently said, "The only way to win in this life is to take chances, set goals, and crush them. Times get rough but God only gave us eyes in the front of our heads for a reason. Never look behind you, focus on what's ahead of you, and never look back. Do what makes you happy." Jonathan is survived by his mom Christina Mosco and her husband Brandon; his dad Paul Madewell and his wife BJ; sisters Alyssa, Harley, Janie and Taylor; brother Mason; aunts Susan, Lori, Kalee, Coral, and Cameo; uncles Kevin, Johnny, Cash, Chance, and Josh; grandparents Steve and Linda Bennett, and David Madewell; cousins Haylee, Daniel, Katie, Aidynn, Scarlett, Eleanor, Jay, Jayla, Zailynn, Jayce, Landon, Levi and Leo; nieces Amelia and Annabelle; nephews Daniel, Xander and Max, along with many other friends and family. Jonathan was preceded in death by his Nana Jane Ruth Horton and his Uncle Robert Bennett. Jonathan aka "Bubby"/"Bubba" took his last ride to heaven from Wickenburg Jan. 28, 2020 and is rolling coal with the Angels now. Friends may offer online condolences at www.wickenburgfuneralhome.com.
