| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Monday, August 24, 1964, p. 9 Violet K. Bristow, 63, Phoenician 46 Years Mrs. Violet Kynast Bristow, 63, a nurse for 18 years at the Crippled Children's Hospital and a resident of Phoenix for 46 years, died Saturday at her home, 1930 E. Roosevelt. Mrs. Bristow was born in Kansas City, Kan. She came to Phoenix from Denver. She was a licensed practical nurse most of her life. Services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback, with the Rev. Norman Crider of West Phoenix Evangelical Covenant Church officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Bristow is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Haulot of Phoenix and Mrs. Ruth Willenburg of Globe; two sons, James Kynast of Chula Vista, Calif., and Karl Kynast of Phoenix; and 16 grandchildren.
