She came to Phoenix 12 years ago and was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She had been ill six months. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Faye Wagnow, Tipton, Okla., and Miss Sherry McCanlies, San Bernardino, Calif.; four sons, Wayne, 1930 E. Willetta, Phoenix, with whom she made her home; Clarence, Madison Park, Okla., and Jeffries and Reese, both of Bethany, Okla. Arrangements are pending at the A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Wednesday, April 16, 1952, p. 34 Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lee McCanlies, 69, who died Monday in a local hospital, will be at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in Memory Chapel, A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. The Rev. George Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
