MOUNCE, Clarice Jane

Arizona Daily Star (Tucson, Arizona) Sunday, January 6, 2008 Clarice Jane (Cook) Mounce 1927-2007. Passed away December 29, 2007. Clarice has lived in Tucson since 1949. She was married to Vernon Mounce and they had three children, Debbie, Terri and Bruce (who predeceased her). Debbie has two girls, Stephanie and Grace; and Terri has two girls, Teresa and Cheyenne. Clarice cared deeply for her family and would do anything for them. When she became ill, we became her caregivers. She was surrounded by family and angels - the ones she collected, and the ones who came in on their own. When she was in Casa de la Luz Hospice, not strong enough to come home for Christmas, we brought Christmas to her. The angels rallied and grandma rallied and we spent our last Christmas opening gifts and being together. Then the angels quietly took her away. Sweet flight, mom. Sweet flight, grandma. We will always love you. A celebration of her life will be held January 27, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at Debbie's house.
