David Fraiberg

David Fraiberg was born in New York on Oct. 19, 1970, son of Jean and Maria E. Fraiberg. He died March 5, 2020. David and his brother John attended School in Wickenburg.

David was an amazing person with a heart of gold. He had many friends who can all attest to his kindness. David and his mother, Maria were the owners of Squash Blossom Nursery and Landscaping. He also worked for Jones Ford in Wickenburg. His mother and brother would like to thank all Jones Ford, his friends, customers and employees for all the kindness that they gave to him through out the years.

We also give thanks to Leon and Jackye Powell for all the love now and always.

David is survived by his three children, Alexandria, Blake and Isabel and his granddaughter, Aria.

David was born at the French/Polyclinic in New York on Oct. 19, 1970, to Jean and Maria Elena Fraiberg. David moved to Congress when he was 10 years old. David attended school in Wickenburg.

He spent his childhood summers between Arizona, Long Island, NY, and Madrid, Spain. David worked at the Wickenburg Inn and Tennis Resort as a young man. He went on to manage the Quick Lube and was service manager at Wickenburg Tire.

David was sometimes the first person people would meet when they moved to Wickenburg. He was the perfect person to welcome people to the town he so dearly loved. David was the owner of Simun Inc. Imports. David spent many years managing commercial and residential properties in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. David went on to purchase and operate the Squash Blossom Nursery. Most recently, he worked as a sales consultant for Jones Auto Center.

David married Natalie Powell on Feb. 23, 1991. David and Natalie recently celebrated 29 years of marriage.

David earned his translator and interpreters certification from University of Arizona in 2010. David had the privilege to be the guest of his son-in-law Gunnery Sgt. Bucaoto aboard the USS San Diego in 2018. He was awarded the ship’s flag as recognition of his willingness to learn and his impeccable attitude. David was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. His favorite fishing spot was the River’s Inlet, British Columbia. David was a culinary enthusiast and loved cooking for his friends and family.

David passed away peacefully at his home in Congress surrounded by his wife and children. In his last days he shared his love and faith in God. David was a man of unwavering faith and a dedicated family man. He will be dearly missed.

David was preceded in death by his father, Jean Fraiberg; uncle Michel Fraiberg; grandparents, Isabel and Simun Chatlak; uncle Pedro Chatlak; and dedicated nanny Gloria Barrientos. He is survived by his wife, Natalie; three children, Alexandria (Mariano), Blake, Isabel; granddaughter, Aria; brother John, mother Maria Elena; nephews, Dylan, Max, and Alex; nieces, Lillian and Eleanor; several cousins, aunts and uncles.

David was laid to rest at the Eagle Eye Cemetery in Aguila on March 15, 2020.
