| Published in Today's News Herald on May 8, 2020 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Earl Gustav Anderson, 84, of Lake Havasu City, passed away in his home on Thursday, April 30, 2020. Earl was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa on September 30, 1935, son of Earl and Verna (Snell) Anderson. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. Earl married the love of his life, Darlene (Hudson) Anderson. He worked with Hormel for 25 years and then worked as a police officer for the Las Vegas Metro Police for 15 years. Earl enjoyed carpentry, gardening, golfing, and traveling in the RV. Earl is survived by his wife, Darlene Anderson; children, Kevin Anderson, Kirk Anderson, Kim Anderson, Kelly Anderson, Gary Anderson, Randy Anderson, and Mario Bacanov; and brother, Gayle Anderson of Casa Grande, AZ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Verna; sisters, Charleen and Darlene; and brother, Roger. Earl's Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
