Deering, 68, of Wickenburg, AZ, passed away suddenly on July 7, 2020. George was born in Seattle, Washington, where he resided most of his life. He worked with his father in construction, and picked up the valuable skills needed to build a beautiful home on Puget Sound in Port Ludlow, WA. George loved nature and enjoyed a wide range of outdoor activities including camping, boating, hunting, ATV'ing, and golfing. He was an enthusiast of Dodge muscle cars, especially ones with Hemi engines, and was fortunate enough to have owned several in his youth. George became a "snowbird" about 16 years ago, residing in Sun City, AZ, then moved to Wickenburg permanently in July, 2015. George and his wife Dawne were married in April, 2016, and enjoyed socializing with friends and neighbors. They also loved to travel, including many camping trips and adventures all over the country. Their most recent trip took them to Red River, New Mexico in June. George was a patriot and was very upset about the recent events happening in the country. George is survived by his wife, Dawne (nee Stephens), his stepson, Taylor, his best friends Dave (cousin) and Sue Randall and Barry and Mary Ford, his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, his Aunt Jean, and many cousins. George was a dog lover who had dogs all of his life and is survived by his current BFF's (Best Furry Friends), Lucy and Sami. George was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer (2007, sic: 2006) and Virginia (2005) Deering, and his wife Christine Deering (2015). George was loved by many people and will be deeply missed.
