Daily Chronicle (De Kalb, Illinois) Thursday, August 2, 1951, p. 2 Funeral services for Ross K. Duffey, 69 years of age, who was born in De Kalb, were held at Prescott, Ariz., on Thursday. Mr. Duffey died in his sleep on July 30, 1951, of a heart attack. He had not been considered seriously ill. Born in De Kalb on November 9, 1981, Mr. Duffey grew to manhood here and when a young man went west, settling at Clarkdale, Ariz. He was employed by a mining company and when he retired from active work he was business manager of the Clarkdale holdings of the United Verde Copper Company. Mrs. Duffey passed away about 15 years ago. His passing is mourned by a daughter, Joyce of Prescott, Ariz., and a sister, Mrs. Anna Barrett of 179 1/2 West Lincoln Highway, De Kalb.
