Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, July 15, 2020, p. A-7 Mercedes (Marci) H. Daniels, 95, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, in Surprise. She was born Sept. 28, 1924, to Juan, and Carrie Gallardo in Indianapolis, Ind. She moved to Skull Valley at age 10, and eventually came to Wickenburg in 1936. Marci worked as a waitress at the Bar 7 with Uncle Wes. She enjoyed living in the desert and loved to ride horses. Marci is survived by her four children, Martha Faye Moralaz, Gary Dunnam, Barbara Dunnam (Lopez), and Robert Lilly (Ronny). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Marci is the main root to a large family tree, and she will be greatly missed by her many family members. Viewing will be held at David's Desert Chapel on Thursday, July 9, at 10 a.m. with a burial at the Congress Cemetery.
