Alfred Vedal Whatley Born in La Junta, California on March 14, 1950. Departed on Sept. 28, 2003 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona. Alfred Vedal Whatley, 53, of Clarkdale died September 28. He was born March 14, 1950 in La Junta, California. He worked as a lineman in construction. Mr. Whatley was a member of the Garden Community Church. He leaves his wife Gloria Whatley of Clarkdale; a daughter, Sonia Whatley of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Benito Whatley of Tucson and Leroy Whatley, Jr. of El Paso, Texas; and two grandchildren. A memorial service was held October 11. Westcott Funeral Home assisted the family with these arrangemets. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
