Olsen Pavingstone http://olsenpavingstone.com/ Anni Hjorth-Olsen co-founder of Olsen Pavingstone passed away in her Arizona home Saturday June 20th, 2020 holding the hands of her husband Ole Hjorth-Olsen and daughter Pernille Hjorth-Olsen. This marks the end of an iconic leader for Olsen Pavingstone. Founded in 1971 by Ole and Anni Hjorth-Olsen, Olsen Pavingstone grew into one of the most respected and successful original concrete paving stone manufacturers in Southern California. “My mother was the strongest woman I’ve ever met,” says Pernille Hjorth-Olsen. “While facing an uphill battle with her health she exceeded doctor’s expectations, consistent with Mom’s style”. Throughout 49 years of marriage; Ole and Anni embraced many adventures, challenges, and laughter together. In 1986, the couple moved their dream from Denmark to San Juan Capistrano, California. Inspired and trained by her parents, Pernille Hjorth-Olsen will continue to run Olsen Pavingstone with the same passion and commitment to their clients. Anni Hjorth-Olsen, born March 10, 1949 in Denmark died from complications of Mesothelioma. “Our hearts are heavy as she ?nds her place with the other angels,” Pernille said. “We are thankful she is ?nally at peace.” In lieu of ?owers, the family requests a donation to The Mesothelioma Research Foundation of America: www.mesorfa.org/support in Anni Hjorth-Olsen’s honor.
