| Published in Today's News Herald on Dec. 9, 2020 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona >> Dave Lee Needham Sr. << >> Oct. 20, 1931 - Nov. 27, 2020 << Dave Needham 89, Passed away peacefully at home Nov. 27, 2020, with family at his side. He was born October 20, 1931, in Jenny Lind, Arkansas to Richard and Mae Needham. Dave and Sarah moved to Lake Havasu City from California in 1984 which was a place they called paradise. He loved the outdoors and all animals. He loved his family and people. He would play 36 holes of disc golf daily with his best buddy Ernie, Craig and Rachael would join him also. His daughter Sue would visit every morning at 6am for 34 yrs. They would feed the rabbits and birds in his backyard. He loved his back patio to watch them along with sunrises and sunsets. Special people in his later years Kenny, Diane and "what's her name" Amber, who we are eternally grateful for all of your help and love for him. Heaven has gained one great man. We will see you again. Dave is survived by daughter Sue (Bob) Hannegan, LHC, AZ; sons Rick (Lisa) Needham, NC; Dave (Debbie) Needham, Grandchildren, Marshall (Christy) Gremard LHC, AZ; Leslie (Marc) Marsh LHC, AZ; Trisha (Steve) Skirvin CO; Stephanie (Chris) DeVore Las Vegas; Stacy (Hank) Vellejo, AZ; Richard & Jenna Rose NC; Gillian Needham LHC. Great grandchildren Ryley Gremard, LHC, AZ; Kyle Marsh LHC,AZ; Steven Needham, TX; Steven & Luke Skirvin, CO; Brittany & Heather DeVore Las Vegas; Zachary, Tony & Peter Vellejo, AZ. Celebration of life will be private. Donations can be made in his name to Western Arizona Humane Society. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz- Fraze Funeral Home.
