| Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Dec. 9 to Dec. 20, 2020 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Steve Ramsey, age 66, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020, after bravely fighting cancer for six years. He was born March 5, 1954 in Madera, Calif. to A.B. and Glenna Ramsey. The family moved to Fresno, Calif. in 1959 where Steve spent the rest of his childhood and many years as an adult. He moved to Bullhead City, Ariz. in 1988 when his dad and mom asked him to help with their growing construction company. His brother and best friend, Russ, moved to Bullhead City in 1997 to join the company as well. Together they took over after their father passed away in 2006. Steve met Lori Gillam when she was with the escrow office the company would use. He then married his best friend Lori on October 7, 2006. Steve was a friend to many and served as president of the Mohave Valley Construction Association. He continued to be an active member of the association until his illness became severe. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy; and his father, A.B. He leaves his wife, Lori; mother, Glenna; brother, Russ (Therese); nieces, Shanna (Tony) Collaso, Tarin (Robert) Henley; and his beautiful grand-nieces and nephews. The celebration of life is postponed until after the first of the year. Time and date will be announced. |
