Ronald Roy Woods

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Ronald Roy Woods, 81, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on Thursday,
Dec. 10, 2020 at the Havasu Regional Medical Center.

Ronald was born in Cresco, Iowa on Jan. 13, 1939; son of Roy W. and
Florence (Joerger) Woods. His family moved to Seattle in 1949. Ronald
attended O'Dea High School and he graduated class of 1957. Ronald
married Betty E. in 1960, who sadly passed away. He joined the Army
and was in the Vietnam War.

In 2013, Ronald married Gail L. in 2013 in Lake Havasu City, and spent
the remainder of his days with her. They were residents of Lake Havasu
City 9 months a year, and spent their summers in Lake Roesiger,
Washington at the cabin, which he loved.

Ronald was a longtime member of St. Luke's Church in Shoreline,
Washington, a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, a
45-year volunteer for S.V.D.P., a member of the London Bridge Golf and
Men's Club, and also a member of the Elks Lodge and Eagles. He was
also a 63-year member of the UA32 out of Seattle.

Ronald was a devoted family man and loved to golf. He enjoyed serving
the needy. Ronald never met a story he did not love to tell and was
nicknamed "Mr. Wonderful" given to him by his wife Gail.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Gail; children, Matthew (Sylvia),
Ronni (Steve), and Mark; grandchildren, Michelle, Gallena, Jackson,
Adam (Jessica), Sarah, and Sillas; four great-grandchildren; Logan,
Leah, Sophia, and Micah; brother, Donald "Ike" Woods; and numerous
nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He is
preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Charles Woods; and sister,
Thelma Tracey.

There will be a Memorial Mass at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 22, 2020
at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Lake Havasu City,
Arizona. A Private Interment will be held in Shoreline, Washington. In
lieu of flowers, please make donations to Our Lady of the Lady
Catholic School.
