Jean Delores Boos Born in Sioux City, Iowa on Oct. 8, 1929 Departed on Mar. 27, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ. Jean D. Boos, 76, of Cottonwood died March 23. She was born October 8, 1929 in Sioux City, Iowa. She attended Central High School. Mrs. Boos retired from GTE of California with 25 years of service where she was a mangement employee in Operator Services. She attended Immaculate Conception Church. She loved dogs, traveling, camping, cooking, reading, walking in the hills around Cottonwood and water aerobics at the Community Center. She especially enjoyed her family and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Colleen Ann Jabbusch and a step-son Harold Allan Boos. She leaves her husband, Harold A. Boos; daughters Sharon Haber, husband, Michael and Teresa (Terri) O'Brien, all of Huntington Beach, Calif.; step-daughter, Carol Ann Estep, Ohatchee, Ala.; brother, Edward Mathews, wife Billie Sue, Fountain Hills, Calif.; sister Beverly Lafrenz, Sioux City, Ia.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
