| Published in Today's News Herald on Dec. 18, 2020 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Jean Audrey Burkhart, 95, passed away Dec. 11, 2020 in Lake Havasu City. Jean was born Nov. 8, 1925 in Minneapolis. Jean worked for the Red Cross in San Diego during World War II and retired after 25 years from Marshall Industries in El Monte, California to Havasu Landing, California in 1981. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, in 1982. Jean made Lake Havasu City her home in 2003. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Talbert and Janet Jones, her son Steve Helland, seven grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Jean has now been reunited with her husband, Ronald and her grandson, Aaron. She loved a good game of bingo, video poker machines and the Quick Hits at Harrah's in Laughlin, Nevada. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jean's name to Hospice of Havasu. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
