| Published in Today's News Herald on Dec. 22, 2020 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Joyce Sullivan, 90, passed away Dec. 14, 2020 in Lake Havasu City. She was born July 9, 1930 in Eugene, Oregon to Cecil and Leona Stauffer. She married the love of her life, Richard Sullivan, June 19, 1948 in Waterville, Washington. Together they shared 70 years of marriage and were blessed with two daughters, two grandchildren and six great- grandchildren. Joyce and Richard lived in France and England with their children from 1964 to 1969. They moved from California to Lake Havasu City in 1984; they loved the weather. Joyce was an office manager for the Boy Scouts of America in Northern California and later in Southern California. She was the president of the Arizona State Women's Bowling Association and a life member of the Ladies Elk Club – Lake Havasu City. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Richard (Dick) Sullivan and her parents, Cecil and Leona Stauffer. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
