She was born in Milwaukee and was a member of Spars of the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. Survivors include her daughter, Margaret; sons, Paul and Robert; and seven grandchildren. Visitation: 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home Chapel, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix.
