Marion Spoulos

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Marion Spoulos, 91, of Lake Havasu City passed away on November 29,
2020 at Lake View Terrace Memory Care, with family by his side.

Marion was born in Bridgeport, Nebraska on 16 August 1929 to James
Spoulos of Klementi Greece, and Helen Haes Spoulos of Loveland
Colorado. He graduated from Bridgeport High in 1948. After high
school, he followed in the footsteps of both his older brothers Bill
and Gus, and joined the U.S. Navy. He spent the majority of his naval
career on the USS Mispillion, a supply ship which operated in the
Pacific during the Korean War Era. After his four-year enlistment, he
settled in the Los Angeles area, and worked at Monrovia Aviation for
43-years, as a machine maintenance technician. Marion met his wife
Pansy Traister at work, and they married on 26 November 1953. They
were married for 67-years.

Marion and Pansy retired to Lake Havasu in 1993 to be near family. He
enjoyed boating, gardening, and traveling across the US in their RV.

Marion is survived by his children. Son Ted (Allison) Spoulos,
daughters Teresa Spoulos (Robert Montana) and Marcella (John) Kimes,
grandchildren Ashley (Dave) Knotts and Cody Spoulos, and great-grand
child Katie Knotts.

Marion is proceeded in death by his wife Pansy, his parents and 2
brothers.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
