Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Friday, April 30, 1948, p. 1 Emery Berry Dies of Long Standing Ailment Is Buried in Cemetery Here Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Wickenburg Chapel for Emery Berry, age 71, who had been in ill health for a long while and more recently confined to Community Hospital here. He had resided in Arizona for the past 30 years, most of that time in the Wittmann community where he was operator of a store. He came to Wickenburg three years ago. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Dora C. Berry and son, Avon of Wickenburg; a daughter, Mrs. Rita B. Webb of Windale, Ariz.; two brothers, J. F. and J. D. of Wittmann; a sister living in Ft. Worth, Tex.; and another brother in Missouri.
