William H. "Bill" Hill departed this life on December 29th, 2020 in
Bullhead City, Arizona. He will be deeply missed by his family and the
community he grew close with over the years.

Born March 25, 1935, Bill Hill grew up in the Seattle area and
returned after his time in the Navy to begin his life as an
entrepreneur and businessman. He invented, created successful
businesses, and owned/co-owned and raced thoroughbred horses with his
brother and trainer, Jim.

On August 23rd, 1958, Bill married the love of his life, Mary, with
whom he would spend 48 beautiful years. They had two children, Steve
and Rachelle, that they would raise on "the farm" in Kent, WA. In
1970, they moved their Port-a-Room manufacturing business to Tucson,
Arizona and lived there until Bill's retirement in 1978. In 1980, Bill
and Mary moved to Bullhead City and quickly became engrained in the
community. His love for golf drew him to Chaparral Country Club, where
they would gain many lifelong friends.

In 1981, Bill and Jim began Hill Brothers Dodge Chrysler Plymouth in
Mohave County. In the late 80's, Bill sold the dealership and started
the iconic used car dealership in Ft. Mohave, Hill Brothers Auto
Sales. Bill stayed in the dealership until his "official" retirement
in 2018.

As a pillar of the community he loved, Bill will be remembered for his
generosity, contagious laugh, and big personality. He always loved to
brighten people's day with jokes and his positive attitude. He
followed in his parents' footsteps writing poetry and loving music.
Bill loved his children, grandchildren, and family. One of the things
they will remember most is his storytelling ability that left them
rolling on the floor in laughter.

Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary; his best friend
and brother, Jim Hill; and parents, Howard H. Hill and Eleanor B.
Nordstrom Hill; and sister-in-law, Lavonne Hill.

He is survived by his children, Steve (Robin) and Rachelle;
grandchildren, Kristina (Brian) Hennessy, Misty Payne, Steve Hill Jr.
(Samantha), Chase Hill (Sierra), Ty Hill, and Cade Hill; as well as
his great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express our extreme gratitude to Beacon of
Hope Hospice and Joshua Springs Senior Living for going above and
beyond in the care of our father.

Services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11am at St.
Margaret Mary Church, Bullhead City, where he was a member. Reception
to follow at Chaparral Country Club. He will be laid to rest next to
his wife Mary at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, WA.
