With his family by his side, he unexpectedly passed away, after a long battle of heart issues at the age of 69. Ray was born on June 10, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan to Raymond and Verna Hanna. Ray grew up in Montclair, CA where he graduated from Montclair High in 1971. In the Army, he proudly served his country from 1971–1977 and was a man of many talents which led him to be versatile with many jobs. On, July 27, 1974, he married Floriana Morris. In 1984, they decided to settle down in Lake Havasu City, AZ to raise together their son Christopher and daughters Shanta and Raelene. Ray was a supportive, strong and dependable man who had a great love for his family, his dogs, Harley Motorcycles, classics cars, music and all people in general. He was known for always speaking his mind, his quick wit, stories for every occasion, immeasurable knowledge about everything and his willingness to always offer a helping hand. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from this man, he touched many lives and was loved by so many. He left a lasting impression on anybody he met and forever will be greatly missed! He was so proud of the life he built; including helping his wife’s dream come true by building Guiding Light Christian Educational Center, his involvement with Relics and Rods and the plentiful relationships he formed throughout the community. Ray is reunited with his parents Raymond and Verna Hanna, siblings Tom Hanna, Jerry Hanna, Linda Grayson and niece Sabrina Grayson. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Floriana Hanna, his three children Christopher Hanna (Megan LaPlaca), Shanta Abbott (Jeremy Abbott), Raelene Hanna (Daniel Nix), his brother George Hanna, his six grandchildren Brentyn Hanna, Deserae Hanna, Emma Abbott, Averie Abbott, Caydence Nix and Morgan Nix; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and family too numerous to list but not forgotten.
