James H. Bowers, age 88, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020.
He was born in Cranston, Rhode Island in 1932.

Jim and his wife Nancy enjoyed raising three children in Wyoming and
Colorado. Retirement was enjoyed in Arizona at Fiesta RV Resort where
you could always find Jim "staying busy". He was active in many
organizations, Santa for special needs children, volunteer clown
around, and Elks. He volunteered to make pancake breakfast and the
Swiss Steak dinner for Fiesta residents for over 13 years. Jim gained
his love of cooking while serving in the Air Force during the Korean
War. He was proud to cook for President Eisenhower!

Jim handed out candy kisses at the guard shack every Sunday for over
24 years. He even attended MCC and learned to deal Texas Hold'em for
friends and family. He was known for his infectious smile, twinkling
blue eyes and a chocolate to share. Jim had a fun hat for every
occasion, and loved to make people smile with jokes and magic tricks.

Jim was preceded in death by his lifelong dancing partner and wife,
Nancy A. Bowers; and youngest daughter, Jill E. Werner.

He is survived by his son, James (Samantha) Bowers of Houston, Texas;
daughter, Jennifer (Bruce) Huenefeld of Loveland, Colorado; and seven
grandchildren that he adored.

A celebration of life will be held at Fiesta RV Resort on Saturday,
November 6, 2021 at 11 am when we really can see everyone's smile.
