| Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Jan. 24 to Jan 26, 2021 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Billy Bayou Mills of Fort Mohave, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. He was born to the late Dorothy Mills and Zack Mills on September 12, 1959 in Needles, California. Billy grew up in Mohave Valley, Arizona and graduated from Needles High School. He joined the United States Navy in 1973, serving with honor and distinction. He worked many years in construction, hanging drywall. He loved the river, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and March Madness. Billy had a life partner and a son, spending time with them was the most important thing to him. Billy is survived by his partner, Becky Gleason and son, James Mills of Fort Mohave; stepson, Mitchell Gleason and grandson, Dreyton Gleason, both of Fort Mohave; and sister, Mona Lisa Harris of Las Vegas, Nevada. A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at American Veterans Post 19, 4310 Hwy 95 Ste A, Fort Mohave, AZ. Billy was well known for his sense of humor and positive outlook. His strength and courage were an inspiration to us all. He will always be greatly missed and loved. |
