| Published in Today's News Herald on Jan. 31, 2021 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Candy Lee Belt, age 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 22, 2021. She was born August 8, 1947 in Portland Oregon, to Richard & Shirley Martien and raised with love by her parents Joseph and Shirley Barone. She married her soul mate, best friend and the love of her life, Robert Barry Belt, on August 15, 1982, who preceded her in death on November 29, 2020. Together they enjoyed many trips to Laughlin and Las Vegas; time at the Oregon coast; and traveling on many different cruises. Candy enjoyed spending time with her family along with cooking, shopping and decorating for the Holidays. She spent time teaching her granddaughters to make her famous (Italian meatballs). A pinch of this and a pinch of that she would say. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Candy is survived by her children, Kenneth Bourlier Jr (Kim), Christina Martin (Ernie), Susan Belt Sikes (Bill), Sharon Belt Leatherman (Dennis); sister Toni Ribail, sister Judie Woodhouse (John), sister Suzanne Ward; sister-in-law Ann Belt; Grandchildren Ashley, Jocelyn, Brittany, Makenzie, Cassidy, Shawn, Kenney, Ronni, Kevin, Blake and Jenna; 7 ½ great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.
