3/30/1949 – 1/27/2021

Pastor Coney Orosco, founder of Missions for Orphans and international missionary, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 27, 2021, at the age of 71.

Coney is survived by his wife, Lani Orosco; his children, Tisa (Jeff Walling), Sara (Kevin Meyer), Ryan Orosco (Bianca); his grandchildren Hunter, Taylor, Maya, Ryan, Eli, Isaac, Madison, KJ, Liam, Noah, Cora; his great-grandchildren Hudson, Olivia, Blake Mae; his sisters Yolanda, Corrine (deceased), and Theresa.

Coney was born in Wickenburg on March 30, 1949 to Coney and Eloise Orosco. He graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1971. He founded the non-profit organization Missions for Orphans in 2008, ministered, preached and traveled to 11 countries over 47 years. He pastored churches in Wickenburg and Flagstaff pioneering his third church in Phoenix and eventually in Kipsaina, Kenya. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to missionsfororphans.org

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 20 at 2 p.m. at Grace Covenant Fellowship, 3849 w. Encanto Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 85009.
