Ray G. Henslee, 81, passed away Friday, January 16, 2009 in Lake
Havasu City after suffering with multiple myeloma. He was born January
14, 1928 in Sherman, TX to Clyde and Octavene Henslee.

Ray grew up in Denison, TX; worked for Yellow Jacket Boat
Manufacturing before moving to Reseda, CA in 1957. He worked as a boat
mechanic for various boat dealers; opened Ray's Boat Repair in Van
Nuys, CA in 1966 and retired in 1986. He moved to Bullhead City, AZ
before moving to Lake Havasu City 11 years ago. He loved to travel in
his motor home and go fishing. Ray was a loving husband and father to
his sons and grandsons.

Ray is survived by his wife of 60 years, Neva; sons, Roy and Danny of
Green Valley, CA and Carl (Jeanne) of Lake Havasu City; grandsons,
Douglas and Brandyn of California.

Donations can be made in Ray's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597,
Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405. A celebration of his life will be held at
the family residence on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 2:00 PM.
