With sadness, love, and profound gratitude, the family of Ricardo
Cortez announces his passing on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 in Bullhead
City, Ariz. He was born March 12, 1946 in Los Angeles, Calif.

Ric joined The United States Military branch Army serving with honor
and distinction. He worked many years as a Heavy Equipment Operator in
The Local 12 Union in Southern California and moved to Bullhead City,
Ariz. after retirement, and has resided here for 22-years. Ric loved
football, pool/darts, Cribbage, boating, traveling, music, dressing
nice, and his loving family.

Ric is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Cortez; beautiful
daughter, Cynthia; three step-sons, Robert, Shannon, and Mike Magers;
brother, Billie Garcia; sister, Sylvia Rojo; eight grandchildren,
Brianna, Alexis, and Christian Barile, Michele, Shayna, Kristi,
Andrew, and Justin Magers; and nine great-grandchildren with two on
the way.

A celebration of life will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm on Friday,
February 12, 2021 at Dignity Mortuary Diamond & Sons.

Ric was well known for his charismatic charm and strong outlook on
life. Once you've met him you'll never forget him. He will be deeply
missed and always remembered by his family and friends.
